Am I over generalising?

Am I being overly perfectionist?
Effective Techniques for Reducing Depression -
Make a list of five of your best attributes
Make a list of five achievements you are most proud of
Read the above two lists when you feel dispirited
Ask friends to stop you rehearsing negative life events in conversation. Instead, concentrate on talking about pleasant past/future events
Make a list of happy thoughts and experiences (however small) that happen each day
Keep yourself busy by doing constructive things. Reward yourself by doing something pleasurable
Give yourself credit for your efforts. Remember, it takes greater effort to do things when you are depressed
